About LUCH: A Creative Journey

Luch was born and raised in Colombia, where he worked for over a decade as a creative in television advertising. In 2020, he moved to New York City, where he currently lives and develops his artistic practice. Although he has painted since childhood, it was only after the pandemic that he began sharing his work publicly.

His art, created using mixed media techniques such as watercolor, acrylic, and spray paint, is deeply influenced by the landscapes around him and his sensory experience of the environment. Each piece offers an intimate and fragmented view of the world, traversed by fine lines that flow across the surface like pulses of energy.

These lines make visible a connection we cannot usually see, reminding us that everything is linked and constantly vibrating. At times, shapes resembling eyes emerge between them, suggesting that everything we look at is also looking back at us. In this way, each work becomes a visual meditation that reveals the fragility, the connection, and the latent gaze within all that surrounds us.
